Join our next Visioning Workshop to shape the future of renewable energy in European farming on 26 March 2026
“How might we enable renewable energy–agriculture synergies that make European farming systems more climate resilient, economically viable and decarbonised by 2035?”
If you are a policymaker shaping Europe’s agricultural, energy or rural development landscapes, your insights are needed. Join our next Visioning Workshop to shape the future of renewable energy in European farming on 26 March 2026
Context: On 18 December, the HarvRESt project hosted its first Visioning workshop in Brussels, bringing together researchers and policy adjacent experts to explore how renewable energy can transform Europe’s farming and rural systems. This in person session marked the start of our Policy Lab journey organised by HEC Paris generating valuable early insights and identifying key signals of change.
We are now moving to the next step — and this time, the focus is firmly on policymakers and institutional stakeholders.
This second workshop builds directly on the foundation laid in Brussels.
By integrating your policy expertise, we aim to ensure that the emerging vision for renewable energy enabled farming systems is:
- Ambitious
- Feasible
- Policy-relevant
- Aligned with Europe’s regulatory realities
Your input — synthesised and anonymised — will feed into a shared HarvRESt 2035 vision, informing the collective sense making and scenario building work during the session.
