What if farm waste could power the future?
At Torre Santa María farm in Catalunya, that's exactly what's happening.
Through the HarvRESt project, livestock waste is being transformed into biogas and compost — closing the loop on energy and nutrients, cutting emissions, and creating new value for farmers and communities alike.
This is made possible by the collaboration between BETA Technological Centre, Sorigué, Axpo, and the farm itself, working together under the partnership Noguera Renovables.
This is what the green transition looks like on the ground: practical, collaborative, and rooted in real places.
